A very nice copper As of Claudius, struck on a large flan, with a very detailed portrait. The reverse depicts the goddess Constantia (constancy), who only appears on the coinage of Claudius. The coin has an excellent, even-black patina and good surfaces, slight scratching to the obverse portrait which doesn’t really detract from this exceptional example.
