A superb billon maiorina of Constantius II struck in Trier in AD 253. the reverse depicting Constantius on the deck of a galley holding a phoenix and a labarum - a military standard displaying the "Chi-Rho" symbol, the first two letters of Christ's name. A beautiful example with sharp details and an attractive black patina.
