A quality silver groat of Henry VI. Struck c. 1422-1430 at the Tower Mint in London. Beautifully toned with an idealised facing portrait of the monarch, highly evocative of the period. A wonderful little piece of medieval English history. Sold with previous receipt of sale from an international auction house.
